Adjusting Wait Times (Minutes Per Container)
The queue displays estimated wait times based on your Minutes Per Container (MPC) setting.
To Change the MPC:
Look for the MPC buttons near the top of the queue (e.g.,
3,5,7,10,15)Click the number that matches your current processing speed
The wait time estimates update immediately for all staff
Tip: Adjust MPC when staffing changes -- more buyers = lower MPC, fewer buyers = higher MPC.
Some stores have a custom input field for specific values between 1-60 minutes.
Note: If you see a locked icon, MPC is managed by an admin and cannot be changed from the queue.
Managing Containers
Containers represent the bins/bags a customer brings. You can adjust them as needed:
Click
+(up arrow) to add a container (customer brought more items)Click
-(down arrow) to remove a container (as items are processed)
The container count is displayed prominently on each queue item so you can track progress.
Tip: Container changes sync in real-time across all staff devices!
Deleting a Buy
Sometimes you need to remove a customer from the queue entirely. Click the X icon on the right side of any queue item to delete.
IMPORTANT: Delete vs. Process
Action | What Happens |
Complete Buy | Transaction recorded, customer history updated, reports reflect the buy |
Delete Buy | Removed from queue entirely, no transaction recorded, doesn't appear in reports |
Don't delete if you mean to complete! Deleting removes all record of the transaction.
Use delete for: No-shows, customer changed their mind, duplicate entries
A confirmation modal will ask you to confirm before deleting.
Common Questions
How do I change the number of containers?
Use the + and - arrows on the right side of the queue item to increase or decrease the container count.
How do I switch between the queue view and the workbook?
Use the left navigation menu -- click Queue to see the queue or Workbook to see the workbook. You can also click on a customer's name to open their details.
How do I add a buy manually?
Click the + Add Buy button in the Quick Actions section of the left sidebar to create a new queue entry manually.
How do I adjust the wait time?
Click one of the MPC preset buttons (3, 5, 7, 10, 15) at the top of the queue to change the minutes-per-container estimate. This affects all wait time calculations.
Why is a customer's card showing red/yellow?
Colors indicate extended wait times. Yellow means they've been waiting longer than normal; red means critical wait time requiring immediate attention.
What does the pulsing red triangle mean?
This indicates an active customer alert (like recent buys at multiple locations). Click it to review and clear the flag after addressing the concern.
